Your Role

As a quality engineer, you will support our production facility in Linköping by performing checks and inspections during manufacturing to verify that the results meet specified requirements and applicable checklists. Here, you will have the opportunity to drive defect cases and perform simpler root cause analyses, as well as ensure that deviations are documented and initiate short-term actions.

Your main tasks will include:

• Verifying at startup meetings that specified tasks have been completed according to applicable checklists
• Analyzing, compiling, and reporting results from performed checks
• Ensuring product quality, driving defect cases, and performing simpler root cause analyses

Together with your quality team of about 40 employees, you will ensure that our production and products meet our customers' high demands for quality and safety. You will also collaborate with other departments within the business unit to ensure that our production process is well-coordinated and meets the high standards of quality and safety.

Your Profile

To succeed in this role, you should have good communication skills as the role requires you to convincingly explain quality risks to others in projects and within production. We value a humble personality that is open to change and development.

We see you as a problem solver who likes order and structure, is organized, and has good analytical skills. You enjoy working in teams to solve disturbances and improve our products together, but you also have the ability to work independently. You possess knowledge from the manufacturing industry, preferably with quality assurance tasks to support production during manufacturing.

Requirements for the position:

• Experience from the manufacturing industry
• Understanding of product and process verification methods such as FAI, (PPAP)

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working with prototypes and small series in development projects
• Experience in areas such as Lean and root cause analysis
